When my husband and I decided to incorporate Indian music into our half-Indian/half-American wedding ceremony, we contacted David to see if his music would be a good fit for the vision we had for our day. Not only did he promptly answer my questions (there were many!), he invited us into his home to help us identify which pieces we would like and really listened to what we wanted. On the day of the wedding, David and Leonice showed up promptly. I remember finishing getting ready when my sister said, "Shh... can you hear the music? They've started playing..." and I stopped and listened. The music was filled with such talent and passion I literally was moved by emotion. After the ceremony, people kept coming up to me, telling me how impressed they were with the music. Even my father - a traditional Indian man with very specific tastes in classical Indian music - was in awe of their presentation. My mother and entire family were touched by how beautiful it was. Thank you so much, David and Leonice. You really made our day special.
